Boston Terrier, English Bulldog and Jack Russell Terrier puppies for sale in Pennsylvania

King's Family Companions is a family breeder in Ronks, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Lancaster County. We raise three breeds — Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs and Jack Russell Terriers — and every puppy gets daily handling and early socialisation before it ever meets its family. Abner works with each family himself, from the first question through to go-home day.

The puppies listed above are the ones available right now, and that list changes quickly. If you do not see the right match today, that is not the end of it — tell us what you are looking for and we will match you with a puppy from an upcoming litter.

How to reserve a puppy

There are two ways onto the list, and it costs nothing to start.

  • The free waitlist simply tells us you are interested. We let you know when a litter is planned or a puppy becomes available. Nothing is owed and nothing is promised.
  • The priority waitlist takes a $600 deposit and moves you ahead of the free list, in the order deposits were placed. It is fully refundable within 48 hours, it can be transferred to a different puppy or a later litter, and it comes off your puppy's price.

Ask us anything before you place one. We would far rather answer questions for a week than see a family end up with the wrong puppy.

What comes home with your puppy

Each puppy has its own go-home date, shown on their page. Each one leaves with a veterinary exam and health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, a completed deworming protocol, a microchip, ACA registration papers, and a starter kit with a blanket carrying the scent of its litter.

Every puppy carries a 30-day Peace of Mind Health Guarantee plus a two-year genetic health guarantee, backed by health screening on both parents. After go-home day we stay reachable — call us any time, for the life of the dog.

Choosing between our three breeds

They are three quite different dogs, and the right one depends far more on your household than on which puppy is cutest on the day.

  • Boston Terriers are small, funny and people-focused. They suit families and apartments alike, but they want company and do not do well left alone all day.
  • English Bulldogs are calm, affectionate and famously easy-going indoors. They need real care in the heat and watchful weight management, so they ask more of an owner than their laid-back reputation suggests.
  • Jack Russell Terriers are bright, bold and tireless. Daily exercise is not optional with this breed, and we would rather talk a family out of one than watch a mismatch go wrong.

Each breed guide goes through temperament, grooming, exercise and health honestly, including the parts that are hard work.

Where our families come from

We are in Ronks, in Lancaster County, within an easy drive of Lancaster, Reading, Harrisburg and the Philadelphia suburbs, and a comfortable trip from New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and New York. If you are further away, talk to us and we will discuss what is possible for your location.

Come and see for yourself

We welcome visits by appointment, and we would encourage one. Meeting a puppy and its parents in person tells you more about a breeder than any website can.

Call or text 717-455-3405, email adoptions@kingsfamilycompanions.com, or use the contact form. We are at 2576 A Bachmantown Rd, Ronks, PA 17572, and we usually reply within four business hours.

Questions families ask before reserving

How much is a puppy from King's Family Companions?

Each puppy's price is shown on that puppy's own page, because it varies by breed and litter. What is the same for everyone is the deposit: $600 to reserve a puppy, fully refundable within 48 hours, and applied to the puppy's price rather than added on top.

Do you have puppies available right now?

The puppies listed on this page are the ones available today, and the list changes quickly. If nothing above is the right match, join the free waitlist and we will let you know when a litter is planned or a puppy becomes available.

At what age do your puppies go home?

Our puppies go home when they are ready to go. By then they are vet-checked, vaccinated for their age, dewormed and microchipped, and they have had daily handling and early socialisation. Each puppy's own page shows the date that puppy is ready.

What is included when I bring a puppy home?

Every puppy goes home with a veterinary exam and health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations, a completed deworming protocol, a microchip, ACA registration papers, and a starter kit with a blanket carrying their litter's scent. Each puppy also carries a 30-day Peace of Mind Health Guarantee plus a two-year genetic health guarantee, and our support afterwards for the life of the dog.

Is the $600 deposit refundable?

Yes. Your deposit is fully refundable within a 48-hour window, and after that it can still be transferred to a different puppy or an upcoming litter. It comes off the price of your puppy.

How does the waitlist work?

The free waitlist tells us you are interested and costs nothing — we notify you when a litter is planned or a puppy becomes available. The priority waitlist takes the $600 deposit and moves you ahead of the free list, in the order deposits were placed.

Can we visit before we adopt?

Yes, by appointment. Once you have been in touch and we have had a chance to talk, we will arrange a time for you to meet the puppies and their parents in person. We would encourage it.

Which breed is right for our family?

It depends on your household more than anything else. Boston Terriers are small, comical and want company. English Bulldogs are calm and affectionate indoors but need care in the heat and close weight management. Jack Russell Terriers are bright and tireless, and daily exercise is not optional. Call us and we will talk it through honestly, including talking you out of a breed if it is not the right fit.

Where are you located and how far will families travel?

We are at 2576 A Bachmantown Rd, Ronks, PA 17572, in Lancaster County. Families come to us from across Pennsylvania and from New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and New York. If you are further out, talk to us about what is possible.

How quickly will you get back to me?

We usually reply within four business hours. The quickest ways to reach us are the contact form, or a call or text to 717-455-3405.
